Review summary

Summarized by AI from 100+ reviews

The hotel stands out as a welcoming haven for pet owners, particularly those seeking refuge during emergencies like hurricane evacuations, offering a much-needed pet-friendly environment. Guests frequently highlight the friendly and accommodating staff as a major positive, contributing significantly to a pleasant stay. However, a recurring point of contention is the unexpected absence of breakfast, often advertised but unavailable, leading to disappointment. Cleanliness is a mixed bag, with some rooms praised for being spotless, while others are criticized for dirty floors and unpleasant odors. The requirement of a cash deposit upon check-in is another common surprise for guests. This hotel is well-suited for budget-conscious travelers and families looking for a basic, functional stay, especially if traveling with pets. To ensure a smoother experience, it is advisable to confirm breakfast availability directly with the hotel and be prepared for the cash deposit requirement. Bringing your own indoor footwear is also recommended due to varied feedback on floor cleanliness.
