Raglan Lodge

This hotel is a budget-friendly option ideal for sightseers and solo travelers seeking a convenient base for exploring South Wales and the Forest of Dean. Its prime location directly off the A40 offers easy access to regional attractions and practical amenities like an adjacent service station with an Asda Express. While the hotel's facilities are generally described as run-down, the presence of a television and coffee/tea making facilities in rooms provides basic comfort. Guests often praise the staff for being helpful and friendly, despite the unconventional check-in process at a nearby petrol station. For a more comfortable stay, guests should consider requesting a room with a recently replaced mattress.
