Review summary

Summarized by AI from 200+ reviews

The hotel is frequently highlighted for its exceptionally friendly and helpful staff, who consistently go above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay, making it a memorable aspect for many visitors. Its convenient location near the highway offers easy access to various parts of Austin, including the university area and the Moody Center, making it a suitable choice for business travelers seeking practical accommodation and event attendees looking for proximity to venues. While the property shows signs of age, guests often find the rooms to be spacious and the beds comfortable, contributing to a restful experience. For pet owners, the hotel offers a welcoming environment, though it's advisable to confirm pet policies and fees beforehand. To enhance your stay, consider inquiring about the hot water situation upon check-in, as this has been a recurring concern for some guests, and be mindful of the somewhat tricky entrance off the main road.
