Highlander Hotel

The hotel's vibrant pub atmosphere and its stunning sea views are consistently highlighted as its defining characteristics. Many guests appreciate the friendly and welcoming ambiance of the establishment, often describing it as a "pub with rooms" rather than a traditional hotel. The food and drink offerings in the bar receive frequent praise for their quality and value. While the location is widely celebrated for its proximity to attractions and beautiful vistas, a recurring theme is the hotel's somewhat dated decor and the ongoing process of renovation under new management. This hotel is particularly well-suited for casual diners and drinkers looking for a lively and welcoming local spot. Its convenient location near event venues makes it ideal for concert-goers and event attendees. Families and couples seeking a value-for-money stay with good food and a relaxed atmosphere will also find it appealing, especially those who appreciate a dog-friendly environment. Guests with mobility concerns should inquire about the lift's operational status prior to arrival, as it is frequently out of service. Additionally, while the hotel provides parking discs, be prepared for potentially challenging on-street parking.
