Positive Reviews

Beautiful, restful, and serene environment.

Reviews stated that the villas are perfectly situated for a peaceful stay in the serene Balinese countryside. Visitors greatly enjoyed the views of the Ayung River gorge and the surrounding paddy fields.

Charming and relaxing villa grounds.

From the spacious villas to the lush gardens, the entire resort property was said to be lovely, well-appointed, clean, and comfortable. Reviewers stated that the villas were very relaxing with great private pools, good beds, and nice Balinese style.

Excellent staff, service, and food.

The staff received high praise from guests for their warmth and hospitality. People especially appreciated little service touches like friendly notes, goodbye gifts, and daily turndown service. The restaurant fare was also said to be of excellent quality.

Negative Reviews

Not a great value for money in Bali.

Reviewers reported that while the villa prices were less expensive than similar Western establishments, the cost was still rather high for Bali. The spa services and restaurant fare in particular was said to be quite expensive.

A hike from central Ubud.

The villas are a bit of a distance outside of Ubud and its businesses and attractions. Although the resort provides complimentary shuttles into town, a number of guests stated that the transportation is infrequent and the shuttle schedule is not always convenient.

No TVs and spotty Wi-Fi.

There are no televisions in the villas, which some visitors would have liked. Others noted that the free Wi-Fi provided by the resort is very slow and unreliable owing to the establishment's remote location.
