Positive Reviews

Good location in Little India.

Travellers generally like the hotel's location in Little India, often commenting that it is well connected by public transport, with both bus stops and MRT stations close by. Guests like that there are many restaurants and shops nearby as well, many of which are open 24-hours. Sim Lim Tower, Sim Lim Square, and Bugis Village are within easy reach on foot as well.

A warm welcome to Singapore.

Most of the staff earn high marks for their hospitality. Guests often comment that the team is knowledgeable about the area, and pleased to answer questions or respond to requests.

Light on the wallet.

Travellers on a budget who are uninterested in "frills" generally find the hostel offers good value for money. The en suite bathroom (as opposed to a large, shared bathroom) arrangement is a plus. Everyone appreciates free Wi-Fi and the breakfast, however limited to tea and toast, is also a money-saver.

Negative Reviews

Please speak softly.

Guests often comment that the soundproofing between rooms is not particularly good, and many describe their neighbours as inconsiderately noisy or untidy.

Time for a little TLC.

The rooms are widely described as very modest and a little time-worn, with noticeable wear in the furnishings, linen, mattresses, and bathrooms. The overall level of housekeeping could also be higher; concerns such as mould, mildew, and dust are often reported.
