An ideal location

Fairmont Peace Hotel is perfectly positioned in an area which is great for sightseeing and shopping. It offers a beautiful view of the Bund and there are plenty of areas of interest which can be accessed on foot. Several previous guests have commented positively about its convenient setting.

A lovely venue

This building has been beautifully restored. Guestrooms are large and attractively furnished, with lots of nice touches, while the beds are really comfortable. The bathrooms are a good size as well. There are comfy lounges offering afternoon tea and the Jazz Bar is an excellent place to unwind with some live music.

Great customer service

Staff at this hotel are very helpful and obliging. They are polite and friendly at all times and will do their very best to deal with any issues you may have in a fast and efficient way. Nothing is too much trouble for them.

Negative Reviews

Some annoying sounds

If your guestroom is situated on one of the lower floors you might find that noises from the street keep you awake at night. You may also experience sounds from people walking in the room above you and possibly from the band playing in the Jazz Bar too.

Staying in touch is tricky

Not only do you have to pay for Wi-Fi at Fairmont Peace Hotel, but it is quite slow at times and Governmental restrictions on certain communication tools such as Facebook may inhibit your internet usage.
