Positive Reviews

Upbeat about customer service

Reviewers frequently felt the customer service was good at this small boutique bed and breakfast as the members of staff were reportedly pleasant, welcoming and knowledgeable.

Pleasant rooms were reasonably-priced

Cosy beds and modern en suite bathrooms were among the room features which appealed to guests. The rooms at this sympathetically-updated Roman townhouse were also described as clean, beautifully-decorated and spacious. There was praise for the pleasant views of the street below from some rooms. Several guests remarked that they got good value for money as the rooms were often competitively-priced for the area.

Central Rome location near site and shopping

The location in an attractive shopping street in the upmarket Tridente neighbourhood of Rome city centre suited shopaholics keen on visiting the many fashion boutiques selling big brands nearby. Furthermore, there were many restaurants, cafes, pizzerias and gelaterias in the surrounding blocks. Sightseers could easily reach famous landmarks like the Castel Sant'Angelo and Spanish Steps on foot and there were bus stops and a metro station located within easy walking distance.

Negative Reviews

Breakfast underwhelmed some diners

The free continental breakfast divided opinion among visitors. Some said it was a handy bonus that set them up for the day ahead. However, others were disappointed by the limited choice of croissants, juices and coffee.

Lack of a 24-hour reception was a setback

For some guests facing delays or arriving out of normal working hours, the lack of a 24-hour front desk occasionally proved frustrating as they had to try and stick to pre-arranged arrival times in order to check-in smoothly.

Minor housekeeping and maintenance grumbles

There were occasional reports of weak water pressure in some of the en suite bathrooms. Several critics commented that housekeeping sometimes failed to replenish supplies of bathroom consumables or tea and coffee provisions.
