Hotel Merkur is situated near the center of Prague, around 15 minutes on foot from the Old Square and the Wenceslas Square. The property was developed in 1930's on the remnants of two medieval structures, which are partially preserved on the underground level. Subway, tram and bus lines pass directly next to the hotel.
