Positive Reviews

Decent location

Guests really seemed to like the location of this hotel. They described the immediate neighbourhood as very attractive and possessing the sort of cafes, bars and other amenities that had drawn them to Paris in the first place. Guests also mentioned that the hotel was quite central and that they could quickly get to many of the city’s big attractions, like the Louvre for example.

Good standard of cleanliness

Guests were generally quite satisfied that the rooms had been adequately cleaned before they arrived. Furthermore, rooms were typically kept neat and tidy by housekeeping throughout

Comfortable beds

The beds here came in for a lot of praise in the guest reviews. The bedding was said to be of a high standard and the mattresses firm, but still very comfortable.

Negative Reviews

Very small lift

Guests commented that, even by Parisian standards, the lift in this hotel was very small – perhaps large enough for one person and one suitcase. Claustrophobic visitors may have to take the stairs here

Rooms lack proper soundproofing

Guests complained that they could easily hear sounds from the adjacent rooms, speculating that no real soundproofing materials been installed in the walls. This tended to make the quality of their sleep dependent on how considerate the immediate neighbours were.

Bathrooms with very low ceilings

Going by the reviews, it seems there are a number of rooms which have bathrooms with exceptionally low ceilings. They were said to be so low that even those of relatively average height would have to stoop to be able to use.
