Positive Reviews

Excellent location

If you want to stay in the heart of Liverpool, this hotel is a good option. Guests regularly rate the location of this hotel as one of its best qualities. You'll find yourself near a wide range of attractions, including the popular Victoria and Mathew Streets. Guests appreciate how much is within walking distance.

Ample amenities in rooms

Although guests report occasional shortcomings, there does seem to be a general consensus that the rooms are well equipped. Whether you want to relax and watch TV or pop on some of your favourite music, you'll find all the amenities you need close at hand. Guests mention that the beds are comfy.

Prices are usually good

Rates at this hotel are usually found to be acceptable, especially when compared to other Liverpool hotels. However, you should note that rates change depending on events taking place in the city, typically rising along with demand.

Negative Reviews

Noisy surroundings

The downside of staying in the city centre is that there is a fair amount of noise to contend with. This hotel is on a busy street with numerous bars, so background noise comes as part of the territory. Soundproofing doesn't appear to be very good and guests regularly report noise concerns.

Wi-Fi seems problematic

While some guests mention they found the Wi-Fi connection was strong, others found it non-existent or hit and miss at best. This might present a problem during your stay, especially if you need to catch up on some work in your room.

Bare bones staffing

With just six rooms, you probably shouldn't expect there to be too many staff about. In fact, guests report that even during a fire alarm there was no-one there to help - as apparently the receptionist was providing blanket front desk cover for several hotels.
