Positive Reviews

Helpful, friendly guest service

The staff, including the owner, the security and cleaning staff were commended for being hospitable. Individuals such as the hotel manager and the café chef have been praised for being really polite and supportive.

Breakfast is convenient

Guests liked that Cross Roads served a continental style with eggs, hash browns, sausages and coffee or tea. The breakfast menu doesn't change daily and is served at the rooftop cafe. Guests liked that breakfast can also be delivered to their rooms. They also liked the two bottles of complimentary water.

Central location gets you around KL

You can wander the streets of Kuala Lumpur, get around via monorail and access groceries, cafes and shops nearby due to its central location. It's also near a stop for a free bus shuttle called Go KL.

Negative Reviews

A noisy place to stay

Don't expect too much peace and quiet. Cross Roads is at a busy intersection, leading to traffic and noise complaints from guests. Some visitors said that the walls are paper-thin that seeps in all the noise from guests next door as well as sounds from the floors above and below.

It could do with more cleaning

There have been complaints about shabby sheets, unclean linens and strange smells in the hotel rooms. Some visitors complained that the rooms resembled little of the pictures they saw on the hotel website.

Don't stay in rooms without windows

The windowless room is very spartan and dark. Guests say that they were asked to pay for an upgrade if they wanted a room with a window. But those who had rooms with windows facing the street lamented the street noise.
