Positive Reviews

It is easy to go fishing around for shops

The location is great for shopping enthusiasts with malls and other shopping opportunities on offer in the immediate area. There is also a ‘not to be missed’ seafood restaurant nearby.

Budget crunching accommodation

This hotel is certainly a cheap option for those on a strict budget. The friendly and helpful members of staff are a real bonus.

Negative Reviews

Where are the cleaners?

Everywhere looks dirty and in need of a thorough cleaning. This includes rooms and public areas; particularly the corridors. Bed linen is dirty and goes unchanged. It’s not surprising really because you can go for days without seeing a cleaner. Old bird droppings on the window sill add to the smells that are churning around in the room. Rooms really need stripping out and revamping in order to become a satisfactory base. They then need to be maintained on a regular basis and not allowed to slide back into their current state. At present, ‘dated’ is the polite way to describe the room.

The noise factor

The window doesn’t close so the noise from outside becomes even more of a headache.

Light at the end of the ... wall!

You can sometimes forgive a few corners being cut in the cleaning process but the numbers of bed bugs and cockroaches indicate that these rooms need more than a thorough clean. If you find a clean spot on the stain-covered bedspread, then it’s time to celebrate. The carpet is in a horrible state and furniture is ramshackle and on its last legs. The fact that you can see daylight in the area where the wall finishes and to roof starts, gives rise to concerns of the building’s structure.
