Positive Reviews

Budget-friendly option

Guests overwhelmingly describe the rates at this property as being suitable for budget-concious travellers. There isn't a huge amount of amenities on offer but the price for the rooms is consistently found to be reasonable nonetheless.

Located near dining and transport

While a fair distance from attractions in George Town, guests have given the location of the hotel a thumbs up for its proximity to public transport services and dining options, particularly the Taman Tun Sardon food court, which is just ten minutes’ walk from the property.

Basic but clean rooms

Rooms here are not likely to win any interior design awards, but despite finding the accommodation on the basic side guests are typically satisfied with the cleanliness. There are minor disappointments but, overall, the property is found to be clean throughout.

Negative Reviews

Parking can prove problematic

The parking facilities here seem to be a bit of a bug bear for guests. The available space is found to be limited, especially in the evening, when double parking or finding a space somewhere else often appears to be necessary.

Some maintenance issues

While the cleanliness here is generally good, maintenance leaves a little to be desired. Guests have reported a variety of issues, ranging from simple blown bulbs to the more frustrating broken air conditioning units.

Hard beds

The firmness of beds is typically a matter of personal preference but so many guests have described the beds here as hard that it is clear there is a problem. It’s not unusual for guests to say things like they may as well have slept on a concrete floor.
