Positive Reviews

Nature Lovers Rejoice

Wildlife literally surrounds you as you are likely to see elk roaming across the stream and deer munching on dandelions. Guests say the most noise you'll hear are the squirrels dropping pine cones as they search for dinner. Take a walk along the river path and feel the peace of nature around you.

Cabins with a View

Some of these rustic cabins are located right on the Athabasca River. When you step outside, there are mountains all around you. This is a quiet, peaceful place, perfect for recharging. Guests say you're sure to get a wonderful night's rest.

Outdoor Sports Enthusiasts Dream

Located right outside the town of Jasper, this is ideal for visiting the Jasper National Park and you don't want to miss the Athabasca Falls. If hiking is your passion, guests recommend taking the trails through the Maligne Canyon.

Negative Reviews

Technology Lovers Nightmare

Be aware that there are no TVs or Wi-Fi access available in the cabins. They are very rustic and meant for you to unplug from your electronics. The only way you can access the Internet is if you go to the common conference building and there's no guarantee you'll find a connexion there.

Rustic Cabins Also Run Down

While several of the cabins have been updated, they continue to rent out the older models that are in desperate need of repair. The kitchens are poorly stocked with limited pans and utensils, and they also lack a microwave or kettle to boil water.

No Meat for Your Money

Many guests feel that these cabins are too expensive for what you're provided, and guests feel like they aren't a good deal. This is especially true if you're staying in an older, run down cabin.
