About Filitheyo Island Resort

The only resort on this tropical paradise island is the beachfront Filitheyo Island Resort. It does, though, contain all the luxury services needed to complete a relaxing holiday break.

Accommodation is in air-conditioned villas, both on land and over-water. A minibar, flat-screen TV, and tea and coffee maker are included along with a private terrace. There is an in-room safe and a hairdryer is provided.

Facilities include a pool and free Wi-Fi. In addition to fitness facilities; beauty and massage treatments are offered in Ilitheyo Spa. There are facilities too for diving and other water sports. Via the 24-hour front desk, airport shuttle requirements can be arranged. Some services incur a charge.

At Filitheyo Island Resort, breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner are served in the Sunset Restaurant and Bar. Further drinks and refreshments are in the poolside Japanese-style Filitheyo Bar.

The resort’s remote location, exquisite beaches, and blue seas offer unique appeal for visitors in search of respite from their daily life pressures.

Romantic Escape

Accessible by seaplane, Filitheyo Resort is the perfect choice for a romantic escape. The upscale, beachf ront resort villas are divine. You will love it. The resort provides all the convenience and comfort amenities expected in a 4-star hotel including open-air bathrooms, mini bars, and private sun decks. Guests comment that they had a fabulous time and look forward to a return visit.

Awesome Pool

Not only is the resort right on the beach with private access, there is a spacious infinity pool with a swim-up bar, a sun terrace and plenty of loungers and parasols. Guests remark that they booked the spa services and they were thrilled. The spa offers open views of the jungle, and the massage treatments were so very relaxing.

A Special Treat

The hotel is chic, upscale and inviting. The dive centre is first-class with equipment rental and boat excursions available. The offshore waters are sparkling clear with an abundance of sea life. What more could you ask for? Guests voice high praise for the attentive and accommodation staff and send kudos to the chef for the fine dining options.

Negative Reviews

Really Old Television

Guests remark that they loved everything about the hotel, but noted that the television was really old and did not provide a quality picture. Guests however advise, that there is so much to do at the hotel they watched little television and the quality of the set did not detract from their enjoyment of the venue.

A Bit Worn

Some guests commented that the rooms are exceptionally clean, but that the fixtures and upholstery were starting to show signs of wear and appeared a bit dated and ready for refurbishing.

Bumpy Bed

Several guest report the beds to be bumpy and not as comfortable as they could be.
