Review summary

Summarized by AI from 100+ reviews

The hotel has undergone a significant refurbishment, transforming its appearance and enhancing guest comfort, making it a notable feature for many visitors. This has contributed to a generally positive impression, particularly for budget-conscious travelers and business travelers seeking convenient access to major roads. While many guests appreciate the hotel's efforts to maintain a clean and comfortable environment, some recent visitors have reported inconsistencies in room upkeep and cleanliness standards. The hotel is often described as surprisingly quiet despite its location near a busy road and petrol station, though some guests have experienced noise disturbances from both internal corridors and external traffic. The consistently friendly staff are frequently highlighted as a major asset, contributing significantly to a welcoming atmosphere. For those seeking a practical and affordable stopover, especially families benefiting from the on-site amenities, this hotel offers a suitable base. To ensure a more peaceful stay, guests might consider requesting a room at the back of the hotel, which often provides quieter views.
