The hotel offers a complimentary shuttle service to all of its guests. The shuttle drivers are very friendly and available at any time, they will give you great advice on places to go and things to do. The shuttles are on time and make travel to and from the hotel very easy.
The Ten-pin Bowling Alley is a great hit with guests, especially those with children. You can also enjoy a wide variety of arcade games and so travelling with children is easy, they are endlessly entertained.
The staff are very friendly and they make you feel welcome from the moment you arrive. Nothing is too much trouble for them and they will happily help you make bookings or give you advice on what to do whilst visiting. The staff deal with any queries in a timely and proffesional manner.
The guest rooms at this hotel are quite outdated and in need of an overall refurbishment. Some of the furniture and fixtures are broken and the beds are uncomfortable. Some guests also complained of mildew and mould int heir rooms and pealing paint on the walls. Some of the guest rooms are very small and cramped.
The quality of the food served at the Rafters Restaurant in the hotel was poor and unappetising. Some guests felt that he staff were a little unfriendly and, in general, the bar and restaurant could both do with renovations and new furniture.
Some guests have reported that the hotel management allows guests to smoke throughout the hotel. This is unacceptable as the rooms stink of stale smoke and much of the furniture shows signs of cigarette burns.
