Super 8 by Wyndham Vallejo/Napa Valley

This hotel is a budget traveler's option, though its overall character is unfortunately defined by a pervasive sense of neglect and an environment that some guests have likened to a "trap hotel" or shelter. The property's most notable drawback is its location, situated in an area frequently described as unsafe due to the visible presence of homeless individuals and drug-related activities. Facilities are largely non-functional, with frequent reports of broken elevators, ice machines, and soda machines, alongside outdated and poorly maintained common areas. While some guests have noted comfortable beds, the rooms are generally plagued by unsanitary conditions, including pervasive odors, stained linens, and broken fixtures. The staff receives polarized reviews, with some guests encountering a friendly and helpful team, while others report unprofessional and disengaged interactions. For those considering a stay, it is advisable to manage expectations regarding cleanliness and amenities, and perhaps consider a room on a higher floor if available, though this is not guaranteed to mitigate all concerns.
