Sunlac Inn Devils Lake

The hotel is a popular choice for fishing enthusiasts and hunters, largely due to its dedicated fish cleaning station and convenient proximity to local fishing and hunting grounds. Many guests appreciate the friendly and helpful staff, who contribute positively to the overall experience. While the hotel is generally considered a budget-friendly option, offering good value for its price point, guests should manage expectations regarding room comfort and cleanliness, as these areas receive mixed feedback. The property has undergone some remodeling, with updated paint and flooring in rooms, though some areas still show their age. This hotel is particularly well-suited for budget travelers and those primarily seeking a practical base for outdoor activities. To enhance your stay, consider bringing your own pillow for improved comfort, and be aware that side entry doors may not always be locked at night, and room numbers are sometimes announced aloud during check-in.
