Review summary
Summarized by AI from 800+ reviews
A practical base for travelers exploring the Charleston area.
This hotel serves as a functional retreat for sightseers and families seeking a home-like stay. A convenient location near the water pairs with a complimentary breakfast buffet that provides a reliable start to the day. The guest rooms offer a spacious layout, and guests looking for extra sleeping flexibility should request a suite with trundle beds. While the staff is often praised for their welcoming nature, the property’s overall upkeep and maintenance remain inconsistent, impacting the intended relaxing atmosphere of the suites and shared recreational facilities.
Some guests mentioned: noisy air conditioning, slow elevators, maintenance inconsistencies.
