With an exterior that looks like a hotel made out of Lego, Hotel Legoland Malaysia is a child's dream come true. Featuring special performances, story time and movie night, this hotel is located at the main entrance to Legoland Park.
249 rooms are categorised into themes like Pirate, Adventure, and Kingdom. Kids have their own separate sleeping area, complete with bunk beds and a TV. All rooms are designed with two bathrooms, and have air-conditioning, a minibar, coffee maker, hair dryer, complimentary toiletries and a king size bed.
From a special Lego wall, to a pirate ship and castle playground, little guests will never run out of things to do.
Bricks Family Restaurant has a special buffet menu created for kids. An Italian restaurant is also on-site, and parents can sneak away to the decidedly more mature Skyline Bar.
Johor Zoo is a 25-minute drive from Hotel Legoland Malaysia.

Younger guests had a mind-boggling amount of activities to keep them busy. From building activities, to a special Lego wall, and nightly entertainment like character dance parties, it was impossible to do everything. Guests said that everywhere they looked, happy little faces smiled back, and most smaller guests didn't want to leave.
positive:
Special touches.
Guests really appreciated the extra measures taken to impress children, and some thought that the hotel had thought of everything. Rooms were an especially fun place to be, with a box of Lego, and a customised treasure hunt and toy.
positive:
Upbeat staff.
The effort that staff made to keep kids smiling and entertained didn't go unnoticed. High energy staff made children their focus, and guests would return for the attentive service.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Not all fun and games.
Guests who wanted to get a moment of work in weren't always successful. Wi-Fi was routinely a problem here, with many guests giving up when service was slow.
negative:
A few improvements to be made.
Food at Legoland Malaysia received mixed reviews. However, the majority of guests had something negative to say about the breakfast offerings. From bad coffee to poor selection, many were unsatisfied with their morning meal. Another area of improvement for some, were rooms that were in need of newer decor.
negative:
Far from the action.
Some guests felt a bit removed from the city here. Public transportation was lacking, and unless you bring a car, an expensive taxi ride is the only way to get to some of the surrounding sights. Guests noted that most main attractions in the area were about a half hour away.
