Review summary
Summarized by AI from 100+ reviews
This establishment offers a unique experience as a pub with rooms, providing a lively and social atmosphere that many guests find appealing. Its signature feature is its central location, making it an excellent base for exploring the town's shops, pubs, and entertainment venues. The hotel is particularly well-suited for contractors and business travelers seeking affordable accommodation, as well as lone travelers and party-goers looking to immerse themselves in the local nightlife. While guests consistently highlight the great value for money and the generally friendly staff, a recurring theme is the significant noise from the bar below and the surrounding area, especially on weekends. To ensure a comfortable stay, it is highly recommended to bring earplugs, particularly if you are a light sleeper or plan an early start. Additionally, be prepared for shared bathroom facilities, which are common in this type of accommodation.
