To the Southwest of Nijmegen, at the edge of Berg en Dal, lies Fletcher Landgoed Hotel Holthurnsche Hof. This country estate covers 38 hectares of woods and hills, and is an oasis for those who seek some peace and quiet or culture. The hotel has extensive meeting accommodations for business travellers. The main building of the hotel, Villa Dalhof, is a characteristic country estate. In 1999 it was completely renovated and brought back to its original style. At the beginning of the Christian era this was the site of a Roman pottery. In the 19th century the estate became a farm, as can still be seen in the chapel and the 'Pauwenhuisje.' The woody chain of hills in this area, which has some of The Netherlands' most unique differences in altitude, are great for a nice walk. Also, this quiet and green environment will ensure a good night's sleep. All rooms have been furnished with two beds, a shower, a toilet, television, radio, and telephone.
