About Hotel Rudloe Arms

Rudloe Arms is a beautiful hotel set in stunning, mature grounds with views across the Box Valley towards Bath.

Each of the bedrooms is individually decorated, some in a traditional Victorian style complete with antique beds and roll-top baths, and others in a more contemporary style with under floor heating and Juliette balconies. All rooms benefit from en-suite facilities, TV, free WiFi and other basic amenities.

Rudloe Arms is set in 14 acres of grounds including landscaped lawns and wooded areas. The hotel is able to hold weddings, corporate events and other private events.

Breakfast is served daily to hotel residents, and includes a traditional English breakfast. Lunch and dinner are also served daily in the hotel restaurant.

There are a number of attractions within the Corsham area, and slightly further afield in Bath, including Corsham Court and Bath boating.

Beautiful grounds and views.

It seems that the main selling point for the hotel is its expansive garden. Guests comment that the garden is still undergoing renovations, but that it remains a pleasant space, offering beautiful views across the meadow towards Bath.

Quirky bedrooms in the main house.

A few guests comment on the bedrooms in the main hotel building, which are described as quirky in a good way. Rooms in the main house seem to be large and spacious and generally comfortable, with interestingly decorated bathrooms.

Great location for Bath.

Guests comment on the ideal location for those wishing to explore or spend some time in Bath. Guests comment that the hotel is quiet and serene, with the city of Bath just a short journey away.

Negative Reviews

Dark and dingy areas.

A number of guests comment on the darkness of the main hall and reception area, with a number of guests commenting that a torch wouldn’t go amiss. It seems as though the hotel is currently undergoing renovation, however it remains to be seen whether or not the reception area is complete.

Poor amenities.

A few reviews comment on the lack of, or disappointing quality of amenities provided. Guests comment that toiletries are low quality and very little is provided. There do not seem to be fridges or minibars in the rooms, and guests comment that TVs are small.

Young, inexperienced staff.

A number of guests comment on the young and experienced staff, who seem to be under poor management and aren’t adequately trained to offer good service. Guests do comment that staff are, on the whole, friendly and pleasant, but that the standard of service is lacking.
