Positive Reviews

Pleasing on the eye.

Hotel Du Vin Bristol is aesthetically pleasing; step through the doors into a large, open courtyard and, if you fancy a tipple after your journey, you can enjoy the comfortable sofas, oil paintings and dark wood panels in the Bistro.

Worth splashing out.

While most reviewers have been complimentary about their rooms, the suites seem to hold the most appeal to guests and many were glad to have paid that little extra to secure one. They offer more space, showers large enough for two, one has a private roof

Why go out when you can stay in.

If it's a romantic break you're looking for, this could well be worth considering. Guests have commented on the selection and quality of the room service menu and you can have cocktails delivered up to your suite so, if you don't wish to leave you room, y

Negative Reviews

Minimal parking on-site.

Parking is available on-site but spaces are few and far between. Previous guests have suggested that there is an NCP car park nearby, discounted for hotel guests, but, as you might expect in a City, it can take longer to drive to the car park than it take

Potential to get lost.

Guests have described the corridors of the Du Vin Bristol as 'rabbit warrens'. Thankfully, a member of staff should be available to show you to your room on check-in. The maze-like hallways have caused irritation for some.

No wine samples.

The Hotel Du Vin chain are, as the name would suggest, known for their passion for wine so, guests at Du Vin Bristol have, in the past, been left confused when told that samples from the extensive wine menu are unavailable.
