Close to city centre

Guests find the Viktor in Bratislava, Slovakia, close to the city centre and only three stops away when they travel by bus. There are many malls nearby with food courts which guests find convenient, and the old town is just a short drive from the hotel. Most guests say the town is a charm with its castles and cathedrals.

Large and well equipped rooms

Guests say that the hotel is in a quiet neighbourhood and so they can rest and relax well after a busy day. The rooms are large, well equipped and clean. Guests like that towels are cleaned every day and beds and pillows are comfortable.

Helpful staff; place good value for money

The staff both at the front desk and kitchen is very nice and helpful. Guests say they go an extra mile to assist providing maps and highlighting places of interest to visit. Breakfast is adequate and guests say it is good value for money.

Negative Reviews

Smoke smell; no single glass of wine

Guests say that though the hotel is a non smoking one, they get the smell of smoke everywhere. Guests do not like that the hotel serves and charges wine by the bottle and not by the glass.

Room issues

Some guests say that the rooms and the amenities are in need of repairs. The toilet seats are broken, curtains are torn and some amenities like the TV did not work until repaired the next day. The shower area did not drain out water and the floor was overflowing as a result.

Wi-Fi and air conditioning not working

Guests could not use the Wi-Fi though free as it never connected. Amenities like the air conditioning did not cool the rooms and guests say only the fan in the unit was running.
