Positive Reviews

Modern, comfortable, and modestly priced...

Guest often comment on how comfortable and luxurious the Motel One rooms feel despite their modest price range. The decor is widely considered simple yet stylish, and the up-market touches like the raindance showerheads and reading lights by the cosy bed are much appreciated. Many guests are very pleased with the quality of soundproofing and high standard of housekeeping, too.

First class staff...

The staff is widely described as very friendly, helpful, professional, and genuinely interested in making sure everyone has a comfortable, pleasantly memorable stay. The breakfast buffet earns high marks for its quality and variety, too.

Excellent location for tourists...

Few guests fail to mention the hotel's location within easy reach of the city's top museums, historic attractions, and restaurants. Some of the sights, including Checkpoint Charlie, the Topography of Terror, and the Jewish Museum, are within a healthy walk, and the rest are easily accessible by public transportation or car.

Negative Reviews

Not enough elbow room for some...

Despite their clever design, some guests find the rooms are not big enough and low on "extra" amenities such as a kettle, fridge, or telephone.

Slow Wi-Fi...

The free Wi-Fi was a downer for some, who had trouble connecting or else found the service too slow and unreliable for their purposes.

Too toasty for some...

Guests travelling in unseasonably warm weather note that the air-conditioning is controlled centrally, and not turned on until May.
